Average Bench: 135% (12th of 649)

Based on 538,602 user benchmarks.  Device: 10DE 1B06 Model: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti

Hyped as the "Ultimate GEforce", the 1080 Ti is NVIDIA's latest flagship 4K VR ready GPU. It supersedes last years GTX 1080, offering a 30% increase in performance for a 40% premium (founders edition 1080 Tis will be priced at $699, pushing down the price of the 1080 to $499). It also supersedes the prohibitively expensive Titan X Pascal, pushing it off poll position in performance rankings. The 1080 Ti is based on the Pascal architecture and features a slightly modified version of the same flagship GP102 silicon found in the Titan X Pascal. It has 11GB of the high bandwidth GDDR5X video memory (versus 12GB in the Titan X Pascal) and an impressive 11GB frame buffer. Like the Titan X Pascal, it features 12bn transistors and 3584 CUDA cores which can run at a boost clock speed of 1.582 GHz – 3% faster than the Titan X Pascal's 1.531 GHz. This increased speed is partially attributable to the 1080 Ti’s new dualFET power system which allows the chip to run at higher power and more efficiently than ever before. The release of the 1080 Ti comes ahead of the competition from AMD's Vega - rumored for release in Q2 2017. Vega is AMD's next generation graphics card (following on from Polaris 10) featuring their new HBM2 die which is alleged to have eight times the capacity of GDDR5 with half of the footprint. NVDIA's own next generation graphics cards (Volta) are in the pipeline for 2018. [Mar '17 GPUPro]

I have this graphics card for 2 years now and I absolutely love it. This graphics card has given me best performance for nearly 2 years and that's amazing. And I would say that the money I spent was one of my best decisions.

Game producers in the market will always cater to the 10 series cards, RTX will forever be an additional feature. You're paying usually double the price for a slightly faster card, when I say "slightly," I mean you'll never need anything more than a GTX 1080 Ti. The 2080 Ti is the end all card which fails to regulate time verses price and performance. You're better off buy a 10 series card and saving your free money for when some future advancement makes our 10 series cards obsolete or whenever for some reason, your card dies and it's out of warranty. Maybe warranty is the only consideration when buying 20 series cards, but then again, tested cards are seemingly better than 20 series cards due to the many initial problems some of the first manufactured 20 series cards failing to deliver power and inevitable dying requiring people to send their cards away for repair. My colleague just took his 2080 Ti back a second time, he's looking for a replacement or refund. In conclusion, if your looking to spend all of your money on an overkill graphics card, get a 1080 ti.

One of my favorite GPU so far as this GPU is one of the first GPU to be capable of running recent triple-A games at 4K Ultra at 60fps within a reachable price for consumers. Comes with 11GB of GDDR5X VRAM which is enough for 4K Ultra with maxed out texture. Suggested to buy this used as the used GTX 1080 Ti costs same as RTX 2070 SUPER yet offered significantly more performance and VRAM out of box.

Perfect GPU! 250W TDP is not too much but that performace is perfect, memory is too much ,processor is strong About 1 generation newest GPU from AMD is still very close on this card but i dont think is better than this ,RTX 2080 have on higher resolution problems too with this one.... Yes,GTX 1080 Ti is expensive but price equals demands..... and AMD with VEGA not set the bar very high because GTX 1080 is better and power compsumpion is on VEGA 300w and on 1080 is 180w and this is very high difference performace /economy GTX 1080 ti is even better efficiency on performace and price?..... 2 best GPU of year were from Nvidia RTX is for what that much expensive? Because AMD rx 5700 xt and NAVI 7 is worse than GTX 1080 ti ..... RTX is therefore crazy price because very very small competition from AMD

Buy a 144Hz monitor and/or 4K monitor before you buy this. There is literally no point in buying a 1080 TI if you have an ordinary 1080p 60Hz monitor. Also, make sure you have i5, i7, i9 8th +gen CPU or Ryzen 5/7 +2000 series or else you will be bottlenecked.

The core to any true battlestation. The 1080ti is way ahead of its time, easily chopping through nearly any game at 4K resolution at a smooth 60 frames per second at ultra settings. Considering the king of the hill, the Titan XP, sits upon a platinum plated throne ($1,200 USD approx), the 1080ti is an excellent choice at roughly half the cost, yet it is able to trade punches with the Titan at nearly the exact same power. If you want an absolute dominator of a graphics card, the 1080ti is the way to go.
