My first high end GPU. I got my Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1080 G1 Gaming in 01/2017. It's been two and a half wonderful years. I've used it to game at 144Hz on 1440p and I love it.

GTX 1080 offers performance slightly above RTX 2060 Super and close to RTX 2070 levels. There are some propaganda articles which claim that RTX 2060 Super and even RTX 2060 is faster, but that's not even remotely true. There's absolutely no reason to upgrade if you are playing @1080p or @1440p. If you play @4K, only RTX 2080 Ti will offer noticeable performance boost - if you are dumb enough to burn your money on such ridiculously priced GPU.

Don't purchase this unless you are getting it used for $310 or less, like I did. Smashes games and performs pretty close to the 2070, great value used. 4/5 mostly because of Asus' model has partly failed RGB, not enough to return it. Smashes my 1080p 60Hz monitor, planning to upgrade to 1440p in a few months. Thanks for reading.

This does an excellent job for those in the media creation, and editing department, excellent compute scores and does extremely well on my 4K HDR display, if I were to upgrade the Nvidia RTX 2080 actually has lower computer scores but renders faster, therefore would consider the 2080-ti over it, that said if you already own it no point of looking to upgrade considering this dies an excellent job.

With the most recent price drop, you'd be a fool not to pick one up. Even if you have to sell your desk, and/or chair. Make some compromises, because the performance upgrade is definitely worth it, at least if you plan on pushing more than just a single monitor 60fps @ 1080p. This card has totally blown me away with how easily it handles running three monitors in Surround. Absolutely an essential piece of my racing simulation kit, and even has me considering VR. I've got the Hybrid FTW model, and I'm pushing well over 2000 mhz, and never going higher than 51 degrees, running some pretty serious workloads.

True happiness. I've bought that card for 400€. (KFA2). Its working well. You must be on windows 10 to optimize your performances. Run every games without struggling. But you must have a good CPU too. Buy it if you're tired of lagging and if you dont have the money for the TI version.
