Based on 194,758 user benchmarks.  Devices: 10DE 1E07, 10DE 1E04 Model: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Ti

“Build it, and they will come” must be NVIDIA’s thinking behind their latest consumer-focused GPU: the RTX 2080 Ti, which has been released alongside the RTX 2080. Following on from the Pascal architecture of the 1080 series, the 2080 series is based on a new Turing GPU architecture which features Tensor cores for AI (thereby potentially reducing GPU usage during machine learning workloads) and RT cores for ray tracing (rendering more realistic images). Unfortunately, there aren’t (m)any games that make use of these capabilities so the $1200 price tag on the RTX 2080 Ti Founders Edition is difficult to justify. The 2080 Ti also features Turing NVENC which is far more efficient than CPU encoding and alleviates the need for casual streamers to use a dedicated stream PC. On paper the 2080 Ti has 4352 CUDA cores, a base/boost clock of 1350/1545 MHz, 11GB of GDRR6 memory and a memory bandwidth of 616GB/s. The upshot is that it has around a 30% faster effective speed than the 1080 Ti, which at 18 months old continues to offer comparable value for money and currently dominates the high-end gaming market. Professional users such as game developers or 4K gamers may find value in the 2080 Ti but for typical users (@1080p), prices need to drop substantially before the 2080 Ti has much chance of widespread adoption. [Sep '18 GPUPro]

The Nvidia's flagship gaming GPU currently (if you exclude Titan RTX from the argument). While the price of this GPU is the absolute bonker for most user (mostly costing 1000 USD or more), if you need GPU that is capable of 1440p 144fps and/or 2160p 60fps+ at ultra, then this GPU is right for you.

Hardcore and rich gamers will adore this card, pronto. This GPU scores insane FPS scores and rich lighting and reflections that blows the roof off for many people looking for a insanely fast GPU for gaming, mining, and ultra computing tasks. However this card is much more expensive than its predecessor, the GTX 2080 Super, making this card and the 2080 Super a choice for budget gaming PCs. Overall, this GPU is insanely great for games demanding high FPS and quality, this GPU is a total beast.

Terrible

Terrible price. Currently, it may offer the best performance for a consumer-grade GPU, but Nvidia and its AIB partners will make you pay dearly for it. In terms of value, it is quite literally the worst even factoring in its excellent performance. Had this card been priced at around $700 (USD) like its predecessor, it would still be a poor value, but it would be far more compelling than it is at current prices.

If you're rich, buy it. If you're looking for a high-tier gaming PC but you're not rich, DO NOT GET THIS CARD. You will never use its full potential just through gaming. Unless you are putting this card in a workstation, then yeah, this card will be perfect. But I don't recommend getting this card just for casual or even hardcore gaming.

Nvidia at it again, creating the absolute best graphics card on the market. This absolute monster of a graphics card can crush through modern AAA titles and melt e-sports titles with the slightest of ease. If you bought this graphics card, congratulations. You have the greatest gaming card of the decade.

Excellent

If you are a hard core gamer, then this is the card for you. No compromises here, allowing you to play games at the highest settings, and when overclocked you enjoy frames per second and visual fidelity at settings no other gaming card can provide. When it comes to gaming the GPU is what counts, and pairing it with a High frequency intel cpu i5 is all you need, spend less on the cpu, more on the gpu. There is more to the card than meets the eye, if you keep up with nvidia's platforming for ai machine learning, this card has features baked in that will take advantage of these efforts more and more. 540p images will be upscaled to 16k image quality. with massive image quality gain overall, and performance boost. Thats what you get for the 1200$

I have never owned a graphics card of this caliber. I got an Alienware with an AMD 3900x and 32gb of 3200mhz DDR4. It's amazing the difference in speed compared to previous cards I've owned. This card pared with my Ryzen 9 is off the charts. I love how I can overclock my GPU and the GDDR6 memory runs at 7000mhz before being overclocked. I play War Thunder with my graphics settings maxed out and I still get around 100fps. That is a lot for how intricate and detailed the terrain and buildings are in that game. If you can afford it I highly recommend this card. 11gb of memory on the card is enough to play any game now and games to come. It has ray tracing which will be utilized by future games and I am confident this card will perform very well for years to come. I recommend Dell Alienware also. I am getting a 190% score on the card and a 93.3% on my processor. The Samsung SSD is at 355% and my 32gb of DDR4 3200mhz is at 113%. If you can build your own system it is probably cheaper but it's nice to have a warranty and Dell support assist to keep every aspect of my computer updated with the newest driver and maintenance tools for keeping your PC running like new. AMD and Nvidia work seamlessly together in my system so if your on the fence AMD graphics cards aren't quite up to par with the RTX 2080ti as of yet and I admit I wasn't sure how an Nvidia card would perform with the Ryzen CPU. I hope my comment helps inform people that AMD and Intel at the moment are both great companies and Nvidia is the leader right now when it comes to graphics cards. I suspect AMD will catch up sooner or later because they are a very innovate and experienced when it comes to CPU and GPU architecture. My first PCI express card back in 2003 was an ATI Radeon x800 and I remember how much better it was than the Nvidia card I had previously. Again I cannot express in words how awesome the RTX 2080ti is. You have to experience it to understand and it is very important to make sure you have a 144mhz refresh rate monitor to go along with your system.
