A brilliant survival adventure through a hostile alien world. Crashlands is funny, fun, and well worth the hours you'll lose in it.

Crashlands won't take over the PC market but it fits perfectly in the mobile world. The game provides lots of fun, has a deep gameplay, interesting combat mechanics and a storyline full of funny moments. It's a solid candidate to the title of "mobile game of the year". Well done!

Sometimes the narrative stutters due to the need to grind and upgrade your tools and items, and you’ll remember that what you’re playing is just an artfully disguised Skinner box. As you’re ploughing over unexplored savannah in search of Glutterfly eggs, however, you’ll realise it doesn’t matter because it’s a hell of a disguise.

The Ipad has been a huge disappointment in its gaming offerings. Crashlands is the new gold standard for the platform. It fully utilizes tapping and makes the game feel at home with the Ipad and I'd assume not so much on PC.

The map is huge. Dialogue is consistently funny. The resources system is unique and gathering them is crazy addicting. My only complaint is that missions don't always give you clear direction to where you need to go or what you need to do. It makes the game require more attention, which some may actually like. If you like or apprectiate crafting games, but are a bit averse to them only for the fact that they have little sense of direction, this is your game. The price is insanely low for the amount of content this game brings.

I remember watching the trailer and I wasn't convinced to purchase it. Based on the phenomenal critic reviews I decided to download it, and I don't regret it at all. The game mechanics are very smooth, the characters are well-realized, the story is compelling with terrific, genuinely funny writing, and the game-play itself is enjoyably addictive. I can't suggest it enough for Android or iPhone users looking for a game that actually makes them choose to stay on their phone over playing a console game. Expand
